As a Dynamics 365 CE – Solution Architect, you own the end-to-end Customer Engagement solution. You design how Dynamics 365 CE, Power Platform and Azure come together to meet complex business needs, and you guide teams to implement that vision.

You work closely with Technical Architects, Functional Consultants and client stakeholders, making sure the solution is robust, scalable and aligned with the client’s strategy and roadmap.

Your Responsibilities:   

  • Lead the overall solution architecture for Dynamics 365 CE from discovery through to go-live.
  • Shape integrated solutions spanning CE apps, Power Platform, Dataverse, Azure and other core systems.
  • Ensure CE capabilities (Sales, Customer Service and related apps) are configured and extended to deliver real business value.
  • Safeguard solution quality across usability, performance, security, scalability and data integrity.
  • Act as a trusted advisor to business and IT stakeholders, making complex topics clear and actionable.
  • Contribute to pre-sales activities, including discovery workshops, solution demos, architecture overviews, effort estimation and RFP/RFI responses.
  • Run discovery workshops to understand business objectives, processes and requirements across sales, service and related areas.
  • Translate requirements into clear user stories, process flows and solution scenarios for Dynamics 365 CE.
  • Own the CE solution design, covering configuration, implementation, customization approach, use of Power Apps/Power Automate and Dataverse.
  • Define integration patterns between CE and other systems using Azure and/or integration middleware, in line with enterprise architecture.
  • Shape and deploy the CE data model, security architecture (Business Units, Teams, Roles) and data migration approach, including master data and data quality considerations.
  • Provide design governance throughout delivery, reviewing and implementing designs, extensions and customizations from the project team.
  • Support backlog refinement, estimation and sprint planning, ensuring architectural priorities are reflected in the plan.
  • Oversee solution-level testing and UAT from a design perspective and support cutover and early life support.
  • Coach and mentor Functional Consultants and Developers, promoting best practices and reusable patterns for CE and Power Platform.
  • Contribute to proposals, estimates and client demos where CE solution input is required.

What you bring in:   

  • You have 8+ years of hands-on experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 CE / CRM (or earlier versions), including several end-to-end implementations.
  • You have strong functional knowledge of Sales and Customer Service, and ideally experience with Customer Insights (Journeys) and/or Field Service.
  • You understand how to use the Power Platform (Power Apps, Power Automate, Dataverse) to extend and integrate CE solutions.
  • You have experience designing integrations between CE and other systems using Azure services and/or integration middleware.
  • You have worked as a Solution Architect, Lead Consultant or similar senior role on CRM or customer engagement projects.
  • You translate complex business requirements into scalable, supportable solution designs and can explain trade-offs clearly.
  • Stay ahead of the curve on Copilot and AI capabilities within Dynamics 365 Sales/Service to drive productivity and innovation for clients.
  • You are comfortable working on international or multi-country programs with distributed teams.
  • You communicate confidently in English, both written and spoken; additional European languages are an advantage.
  • You enjoy guiding and mentoring colleagues and contributing to a collaborative, learning-focused culture.
  • You hold a degree in Informatics, Computer Science, Engineering, Business Information Systems or equivalent experience.
  • You ideally hold relevant Microsoft certifications (e.g. PL-600, Dynamics 365 functional certifications).
