The KPMG Delivery Network (KDN) is a KPMG special purpose member firm offering a way for clients to leverage KPMG top talent and technology platforms through regional teams of specialists, enabling economies of scale and a new way of working that expands beyond local capability

Together with KDN, KPMG member firms can drive the sales and delivery of global solutions at a competitive price and in a repeatable and consistent manner. As a member of KDN, you’ll be a part of the KPMG family working alongside some of our profession’s most skilled practitioners on rewarding programs and initiatives that are changing the way business operates, delivering value to our clients, and driving positive change in the communities we serve. You’ll be enabling KDN accelerate new ways of working, using cutting-edge technology and working together with our member firms located in nearly 145 countries to help us achieve our ambition to be the most trusted and trustworthy professional services firm. And through your work, you’ll build a global network and unlock opportunities that you may not have thought possible with access to great support, vast resources, and an inclusive, supportive environment to help you reach your full potential.

As a Dynamics 365 F&O & SCM Solution Architect, you will own the end-to-end solution design across Finance and Supply Chain. You will work at the intersection of business and technology – shaping the solution blueprint, guiding delivery teams and ensuring our clients realize tangible value from Dynamics 365. The role is both hands-on and strategic: close enough to the system to make concrete design decisions, senior enough to provide governance and thought leadership across engagements.

Your Responsibilities:

  • Own the overall Dynamics 365 F&O & SCM solution architecture for assigned clients, aligned with business strategy and Microsoft best practices.
  • Lead end-to-end solution design for core Finance and Supply Chain processes (order-to-cash, procure-to-pay, plan-to-produce, inventory & warehouse, logistics, master planning).
  • Shape and govern the D365 F&O / SCM global template, driving standardization, reuse and quality across entities and countries.
  • Translate complex requirements into clear, scalable solution designs and implementation roadmaps for global, multi-entity organizations.
  • Collaborate closely with Project Managers, Technical Architects, functional consultants and client stakeholders to ensure a coherent, integrated solution.
  • Safeguard solution quality with respect to performance, robustness, security and data integrity throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Contribute to pre-sales activities, including discovery workshops, solution demos, architecture overviews, effort estimation and RFP/RFI responses.
  • Lead functional and solution design workshops with stakeholders across Finance, Operations, Supply Chain, IT and shared services.
  • Analyze current processes and target models and define D365 F&O & SCM solutions that support standardization, automation and future growth.
  • Document the end-to-end solution architecture, including cross-module design, localization concept, integration patterns and key non-functional requirements.
  • Own the D365 F&O & SCM template and guide country rollouts, ensuring that local requirements are addressed without compromising the global model.
  • Review, validate and implement functional designs, configuration decisions and customization specs prepared by the delivery team.
  • Work closely with technical teams on integration, data migration and performance, challenging and aligning technical designs with the functional blueprint.
  • Provide solution input to scope, estimation, planning and risk management from the start of each engagement.
  • Support test strategy (SIT, UAT, regression) by defining key business scenarios and acceptance criteria from a solution perspective.
  • Participate in pre-sales activities such as discovery sessions, demos and RFP/RFI responses, representing the solution view.
  • Act as a trusted advisor to senior client stakeholders, explaining solution options, trade-offs and roadmap implications in clear business language.
  • Mentor more junior consultants and contribute to the best internal practices, accelerators and knowledge sharing within the D365 and Cloud communities.

What you bring in:

  • 8+ years of experience with Microsoft Dynamics AX / D365 F&O, including at least 2–3 full-cycle implementations in a senior or lead role.
  • Proven experience as a Solution Architect or Lead Functional Consultant on D365 F&O with strong focus on Supply Chain Management (Inventory, Warehouse Management, Procurement & Sourcing, Sales & Distribution, Master Planning, Production) and solid understanding of core Finance.
  • Background in working for, or with, consulting firms or Microsoft partners on complex, international ERP programs.
  • Strong ability to translate business strategy and complex requirements into pragmatic, scalable solution designs and implementation roadmaps.
  • Experience in designing and governing global templates, rollouts and localization for multi-entity, multi-country organizations.
  • Confident facilitation and stakeholder management skills; comfortable leading workshops and engaging with C-level stakeholders and business leadership.
  • Solid understanding of integration approaches (APIs, Azure services, Power Platform, EDI, ISV solutions) and non-functional requirements (performance, security, extensibility, maintainability).
  • Ease in working closely with Technical Architects and developers, able to understand, challenge and validate technical designs from a solution standpoint.
  • University degree in Business, Informatics, Computer Science, Engineering or similar, or equivalent practical experience.
  • Microsoft certifications such as MB-310, MB-335, MB-700 (or willingness to obtain them with our support) are a strong plus.
  • Very good command of English (spoken and written); additional European languages (e.g. German, French, Dutch, Spanish) are an advantage.
  • Strong customer focus, ownership and accountability, combined with a collaborative, international team mindset and a desire to continuously learn within the Microsoft Business Applications ecosystem.

What we offer:

  • Work on large-scale, international Dynamics 365 programs for leading global clients within KPMG’s worldwide network.
