The Junior QA Engineer is responsible for testing and releasing high quality software products, under mentorship and as part of a team of highly skilled engineers in a multinational environment. The team assignments are broad in nature and the challenges require 'big picture' approach, combined with thinking creatively towards solving a problem. A favorite and valuable part of the job is working on internal tools and devising methods to improve not just the final product, but the QA 'path', which led to it. 

Your responsibilities:

With the support of established procedures and mentorship, you will be responsible to:

  • Analyze client requirements and participate in the Test Plans preparation
  • Execute Test Cases
  • Defect Tracking
  • Communicate information of a defect to developers and collaborate to fix it
  • Prepare Summary Reports and Suggestion Documents to improve the quality of the application
  • Work as part of a scrum team and cultivate and disseminate knowledge of application development best practices
  • Communicate actively with the Test Lead / Test Manager, about possible ways to improve the work process

What you bring in:

  • At least 6 months of professional experience in QA
  • Bachelor degree in Computer Science or similar university degree
  • Completed QA Training Course
  • Very good analytical skills and high attention to details
  • Understanding of a software test lifecycle
  • Excellent command of written and spoken English
