The Microsoft Account Manager is responsible for managing client relationships, ensuring customer satisfaction, and driving the adoption and success of our Microsoft services. This role involves understanding customer needs, recommending appropriate solutions, and overseeing their implementation and ongoing management to achieve business objectives.

Responsibilities:

  • Building strong client relationships to maintain old business and acquire new mutual opportunities
  • Negotiate commercial conditions with current and prospect customers
  • Participate in customer retention, upsell and cross sell campaigns
  • Understand the client’s business model and participate in account business plan execution
  • Actively communicate with clients to ensure all of their business needs are translated, understood, and addressed properly
  • Consistently plan, direct, and coordinate cross-functional teams and their activities
  • Track development of opportunities. Monitor and control work progress while being on top of the requirements coming from the clients
  • Bridge gaps across clients and teams by ensuring accurate communication in ways to enhance understanding
  • Identify, assess and manage risks to the success of the initiatives
  • Escalate issues related to schedules, working methods, resources, staff matters, or technical difficulties through appropriate channels in a timely manner. Resolve complaints and keeping track of all processes that pertain to the client’s aspirations
  • Coordinate activities with other Business Development team members to identify areas for collaboration and synergy of projects
  • Be up to date with key technology trends in the market and provide actionable insights to your account base
  • Foster an environment of continuous improvement - constantly exploring ways to increase efficiency and productivity, reducing waste, and reducing costs

What you bring in: 

  • Minimum 5 years of former Business Development/ Account/ Project/ Service Management experience working with IT teams in an international environment
  • Previous hands-on experience with Microsoft products as a consultant and/or Project manager will be considered as a strong advantage
  • Experience in writing complex proposals with clearly defined value proposition
  • Experience in contract negotiations
  • Ability to develop and nurture relationships with various levels of senior management and executive management
  • Effectively possess good leadership skills, positive attitude, top-level accuracy, and critical thinking. Strong communicational and organizational skills to coordinate efforts with attention to detail
  • Time management and multitasking skills to handle multiple tasks, projects, and clients at once
  • Determination to grow quickly in a truly dynamic environment
  • Satisfactory problem-solving skills to help resolve customer complaints or needs
  • Ability to easily prioritize projects and execute initiatives with high quality in a timely manner
  • Experience with project management tools used for task/time/resource management
  • Fluency in English - excellent verbal and written communication skills
