The role:

As a functional advisor in Dynamics 365 Finance you will be responsible for the process design, implementation and testing of the Dynamics 365 Finance solution.

You will guide our international customers in how they should transform their finance organization in such a way that it is more performant by leveraging the Microsoft Dynamics 365 platform to its full extend. An important part is the creation of the to-be processes to align with the standard way of working in Dynamics 365 as much as possible.

You will be supported by one or more business consultants who have a strong focus on process knowledge whilst your focus will be on the Microsoft Dynamics 365 solution. Furthermore you can count on the support of the Solution Architect and a technical team for integration, interacting, custom development, migration, build and release activities.

Your responsibilities:

  • Guide customer in the transformation of their finance function by organizing and executing workshops
  • Execute FIT/GAP workshops and create the to-be process designs using the APQC process model aligned with the dynamics 365 finance capabilities
  • Create the functional designs and provide information towards the technical team for any Gaps (e.g. interfaces, customer development) that should be solved.
  • Configuration of the solution
  • Write test scenarios and execute functional testing
  • Assist in integration testing
  • Support customers during UAT
  • Create training material and training of customers
  • Assist in the financial data migration rehearsals and go-live activities
  • Assist in the change management component of business transformations by acting as a change agent and ambassador
  • Assist in the Quality Assurance component of large scale ERP implementations in topics as peer reviews, risk assessments, issue assessments and etc.
  • Ready to continuously invest time to keep up-to-date with the latest capabilities, functions and features in the Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance solution and act as an advocate in spreading this knowledge within the teams.

What you bring in:

  • You hold a Master’s degree preferably in Economics, Informatics or Engineering
  • You have a good understanding of accounting and / or controlling
  • You have minimum 2-3 years of hands-on experience and you were involved in multiple Dynamics 365 implementation- or advisory projects as a Finance process- or functional consultant
  • You have a good knowledge of the most important Finance modules in Dynamics 365 (General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Fixed Assets, Credit and collections)
  • You have the ability to work independently, as well as in project teams and take ownership and responsibility
  • You keep developing your coaching skills by closely working together with other colleagues
  • You are fluent in English, Dutch and/or French would be considered strong advantage
  • You are a certified Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance Functional Consultant Associate (MB-310) or are willing to achieve this certification in the near future
  • Certification in PRINCE2, PMP or other project management tracks is considered an advantage
  • Knowledge of Project Operations, Budgeting in Dynamics 365 Finance and RCS Globalization Features is considered an advantage.
